RealVNC Viewer update required
Read our important update here regarding RealVNC Viewer and Entra ID SSO
If you or your organization have opted to enable RealVNC Connect's Account SSO feature for your RealVNC Connect Team, you need to use your organization/work email address, or OIDC identifier, to sign in to instead of a standard RealVNC account.
If you are unsure whether your RealVNC Connect team has been enabled for SSO sign-in, or you do not know what your OIDC identifier is, please contact your system administrator.
Signing in with SSO
RealVNC Connect Portal
To sign in to the RealVNC Connect Portal with SSO, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to RealVNC Connect Portal.
- Click the Sign In with SSO button.
- Enter your organization/work email address, and click Sign In.
- If your email address is recognised, you will be taken to the sign-in page for your organization's identity provider.
If your email address is not recognised, you will be prompted to enter an OIDC identifier instead.
After entering a valid OIDC identifier, you will be will be taken to the sign-in page for your organization's identity provider.
If you do not know what your OIDC identifier is, please contact your system administrator.
- After successfully signing in with your organization's identity provider, you will be automatically redirected back to the RealVNC Connect Portal.
RealVNC Viewer for Desktops
To sign in to RealVNC Viewer for Desktops with SSO, follow the steps below.
- Open RealVNC Viewer and click Sign In.
- Click the Sign In with your organization button.
- Enter your organization/work email address, and click OK.
- If your email address is recognised, your web browser will open and you will be taken to the sign-in page for your organization's identity provider.
If your email address is not recognised, you will be prompted to enter an OIDC identifier instead.
After entering a valid OIDC identifier, your web browser will open and you will be will be taken to the sign-in page for your organization's identity provider.
If you do not know what your OIDC identifier is, please contact your system administrator.
- After successfully signing in with your organization's identity provider, you will be prompted by your browser to launch RealVNC Viewer. Click Open/OK to complete the sign-in.

RealVNC Connect currently supports signing in with the online identity providers listed below.
