Can remote connect via PC but not smart phone

I reset the password to my Raspberry PI running "pi-hole". Username is "pi". The PC client saved it apparently, but when I try to sign in from my new phone, it prompts me for the password.

When I click "Forgot password" on the phone, it takes me to this URL

which does not  help.

Any idea what is going wrong with the phone client?
