I'm assuming port 5900 should be open on the computer which is being controlled? If so, what do you do when the port is not opened on the computer, yet the server service is running and not showing any errors?
Port 5900 is used for direct connections which require an Enterprise subscription. Other subscription types (Home and Professional) do not have a listening port and must be connected to via the cloud.
