Hi Anthony. That is how we use RealVNC on a production environment. Note that as the RealVNC Connect v7 app doesn't have access to the internet you have to manually populate the app with connections for each user. This can be scripted in some ways. It also looks like the v8 app may not ne compatible with direct connections. I'm trying to find out what development path the product is going down, including licensing for direct connections.
I submitted a support ticket asking about pricing to get direct connections. That was 3 weeks ago. Haven't gotten a response. Support is absolute terrible now. Direct connections should be available to non-enterprise customers. I wish they offered a residential plan.

We restored direct connectivity to Business Premium Per Session plans a few weeks ago. If the feature isn't available for you please let me know
