I would love to see this as well. There are ways to run VNC Viewer on Wayland, and in fact I'm daily driving it. I am running Hyprland on Wayland and I got it to work well using xwayland-satellite instead of the standard xwayland (just start xwayland-satellite on WM start).
I've been pestering them for a couple of years now to add wayland support. No news yet. With the uptick in Linux adoption, they should really look into adding it.

I’m also wondering this. I really enjoy using RealVNC Server and Viewer and was disappointed to see that Wayland is unsupported.
