VNC server doesn't work on RaspberryPi 4
I have a problem with RealVNC on my raspberry pi 4. The Vnc icon does not appear even if the VNC flag is enabled.
If I write into the terminal: cat /var/log/syslog | grep vnc | tail, these errors appear:
raspberrypi vncserver-x11[2246,root]: AgentInitCheck: agent comms failure
raspberrypi vncserver-x11[2246,root]: AgentInitCheck: no response from agent
Can you help me, please?
Thank you very much!

If RealVNC Server is not starting at all, or you can connect and see only a blank screen
Are your Raspberry Pis running Pi OS Bookworm? If so, can you check that wayland is disabled - you can use our guide here: https://help.realvnc.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417193011857
If this doesn't help, can you please ensure your Pi is fully up to date by running:
and then try starting RealVNC Server again:
If you can connect and see a desktop, but don't have access to the RealVNC Server icon:

If you are connected to Virtual Mode and need to access the License Wizard, you can run the command:

Did you ever get a resolution to this problem? I have the same issue(s)
Same!
What the heck??? I mean this should be easy!
No matter what I do, versions of Raspberry Pi or whatever, can I get the VNC Icon to appear in the system tray. I can connect to the Pi using the IP address so the server is running but I want to configure the cloud options...
Driving me bonkers.... wasted so much time for whats supposed to be dead easy!
