Signing in to VNC Connect with Azure AD SSO

If you or your organization have opted to enable VNC Connect's Azure AD SSO, you need to use your organisation/work account to sign in to VNC Connect instead of a RealVNC account. To discuss enabling Azure AD SSO for your subscription, please contact us.

Signing in to VNC Viewer

Desktop

  1. Open VNC Viewer, and click Sign In

  2. Click the Sign in with your organization button

  3. Enter the Organization Identifier that was provided by your system administrator
    Note, if your system administrator has created a pre-configured VNC Viewer, configured OidcOrgIdentifier in policy or you have signed in with Azure AD SSO previously, this step will be automatically skipped by VNC Viewer.

  4. Your browser will open to Microsoft's sign in page. Select the account you want to sign in with and complete the sign in process

  5. Click Continue when prompted about signing in to VNC-Connect-SSO

  6. Click Open on the browser pop-up that appears to complete the sign in to VNC Viewer

  7. You will be signed in to VNC Viewer and your Team and computers will automatically appear

Mobile

  1. Open the VNC Viewer app and tap the Menu icon in the top left

  2. Tap the Sign In button

  3. Tap the Sign in with your organization link

  4. Enter the Organization Identifier that was provided by your system administrator and tap Continue

  5. Your browser will open to Microsoft's sign in page. Select the account you want to sign in with and complete the sign in process

  6. Click Continue when prompted about signing in to VNC-Connect-SSO

  7. You will be signed in to VNC Viewer and your Team and computers will automatically appear

Signing in to the VNC Connect Portal

  1. Navigate to the dedicated VNC Connect Azure AD SSO Portal URL provided by your system administrator, e.g. https://manage.realvnc.com/en/sso/mycompanyname, then click Next

  2. Your browser will open to Microsoft's sign in page. Select the account you want to sign in with and complete the sign in process

  3. You will be returned to the VNC Connect portal

Signing in to VNC Server

It is not currently possible to apply your subscription to VNC Server by signing in with an Azure AD SSO account. Instead, you need to use a cloud connectivity token. For more information, please see Using Cloud connectivity tokens.
