VNC Connect Home subscriptions and RPort Open Source are available for non-commercial use.
You may not use the VNC Connect service with a Home subscription for any use intended for, or directed toward, commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
You may not use RPort Open Source for any use intended for, or directed toward, commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
As an example, connecting to a computer at your place of work is classed as commercial use and a VNC Connect Home subscription cannot be used.
Connecting to a computer owned by friends or family members to help them is non-commercial use and a Home subscription can be used.
If you are a service company - or a department within a large organisation - and only your organisation’s staff uses rport, free use is permitted (although we recommend purchasing a support agreement for production use). If you use RPort for supporting your customers and you charge for your services in any way, a paid RPort subscription license is required.
Please note that RealVNC reserves the right to terminate your VNC Connect Home subscription if we believe it's being used for commercial purposes.
