What is non-commercial use?

RealVNC Connect Home and RealVNC Connect Lite subscriptions are available for non-commercial use.  

You may not use the RealVNC Connect service with a Home or Lite subscription for any use intended for, or directed toward, commercial advantage or monetary compensation.

As an example, connecting to a computer at your place of work is classed as commercial use and a RealVNC Connect Home or Lite subscription cannot be used.

Connecting to a computer owned by friends or family members to help them is non-commercial use and a Home or Lite subscription can be used.

Please note that RealVNC reserves the right to terminate your RealVNC Connect Home or Lite subscription if we believe it's being used for commercial purposes.
