Can I connect when a computer is asleep, or powered off?

Follow

If you are sure the remote computer is connected to the Internet but you see:

VNC Server is not currently listening for Cloud connections

...when attempting to connect, then it may be that the remote computer is asleep. Note that Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is not currently supported under any platform.

  • Yeah, agreed....100% why would wake on lan NOT be a features in this day and age? I also would rather not switch, but my computer sleeps when i'm away for conservation, so WAKE ON LAN FOR ME IS CRITICAL..
