I followed the https://help.realvnc.com/hc/en-us/articles/7636620287133-Popup-for-VNC-Viewer-would-like-to-paste-from-appearing-on-iOS-iPadOS-16

instructions but now, instead of getting the popup for the problem above, I get a notice that "VNC Viewer Pasted from <my computer name>" for every single keypress at the top of my remote session. It covers up a small portion of the address bar area or whatever I am working on.
