VNC Connect install failure on Debian - Help desperately needed on this please

Hello

I am using:-

Linux  5.10.0-15-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.120-1 (2022-06-09) x86_64 GNU/Linux,

This is in fact the RPi implementation but on a Mac Mini (Intel)

I am trying to install the latest VNC server onto this platform using the download from your website and I get an error in the Terminal when i try to execute the load.

The error does not generate any error codes just said there were issues and it(VNC) has been left unconfigured..

what am I doing so wrong, please?

  • Hello,

I am in need of help here on this issue, i have "progressed" a little, but to be hones not sure why... now have a totally different problem.

Please take a look at the attached screenshot from the device in question.

The command line info is telling me that the software is not licensed and the other open dialogue from VNC is displaying that the software is licensed.

How can I be absolutely sure that this software is licensed and I can try and progress this issue....my Linux/Debian experience is limited, but one thing I have noted is that the Debian system is a 32-bit install and the RealVNC installation appears to be 64-bit.( See terminal screen)... surely that's an issue....

thanks very much would really appreciate some response
