I wanted to give a third party access to my computer running VNC server on port 5910. The person who needs access does have an account; he just downloaded and installed the viewer. I gave him the IP address and portnummer (5910 in this case) and the password, but when he enters the ip address plus port number (xxx.x.xxx.xx:5910) it just says "connecting to xxx.x.xxx.xx:5910" and after some time "timed out waiting for a response from computer". What is going wrong? I can make connections from my own signed in account with no problem.

The same situation to me - but to me, the Window 10 computer and the pi are sitting next to each other - but still ""timed out waiting for a response from computer".
