Unable to share files from Manjaro Linux

Despite the fact I do have file sharing enabled on both server and viewer, the option does not show up in the dropdown menu, unlike how it does on the raspberry pi version. Is there something else I need to change, or has it just not been implemented yet on Arch Linux?
please let me know if any more information is required.
