Migrating to a new computer
I have a Mac running VNC server, home edition. I am getting a new Mac. I was planning to transfer all files/apps/OS using a Time Machine backup of the old machine onto the new machine. Will the VNC server installation move seamlessly between the two machines as part of the file migration, or is there some action I should take beforehand on the old machine to simplify or smooth the transition? Will I be required to do something on the new machine?

Hi Vince,
The best thing to do would be to remove VNC Server from your team in the portal first. If you run into any issues with VNC Server showing an error about cloning, see my post here https://help.realvnc.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4416653063825-Server-Name-Incorrect-How-to-Change-?page=1#community_comment_5763102682653
