iPadOS physical mouse support
Does anyone know of a way to get VNC Viewer on iPadOS to simply use a real mouse? While I'm able to use the mouse to operate the touch controls, it would be nice to take advantage of the hardware that is there. If this feature doesn't exist, can someone from RealVNC suggest when such a feature might be added?
Thanks

Support for mouse / trackpad input is on our product roadmap.
Unfortunately we're not able to give an estimated release date at this time.
Any date on this yet? With magic keyboard for iPad, trackpad is excellent. This would be a big enhancement, and I don’t want to have to switch to another VNC viewer for it. Thanks
You may want to try setting the connection interaction to be Touch panel (select Interaction > Touch panel from a connection’s settings, either before or during a session)
@andrew, that seems to partly work. It works for moving the cursor but all it seems that the other interactions are not available. Any other thoughts or new development on supporting the iPad keyboard/trackpad?
FYI, the RD Client on iPadOS supports mouse very well, just like a native one.
cann't wait to see it's implemented in realvnc
Dear RealVNC-Team,
I‘d love to see this feature being implemented. Working from remote with am mouse attached to my iPad would greatly be enhanced when you could move he the mouse pointer on the remote PC.
Are there any news when we could see this?
Thanks,
Michael
Dear RealVNC-Team,
Has this feature progressed any further in the development cycle? I use RealVNC for iPadOS for hours at a time every week. It would be really nice, like the Microsoft Remote Desktop app does, to use the iPad trackpad to control the RealVNC desktops I have setup.
Thank you,
Jarom
