realvnc viewer failed to sign in to account due to network error

Hello experts,

I installed the realvnc server on the remote pc and downloaded the standalone viewer on the client pc. But I cannot login into viewer, its giving error that "realvnc viewer failed to sign in to account due to network error".

Looking forward for a solution please.

sounds like its an issue with your internet connection on the viewer or somethings being blocked in your local network. Maybe check if your firewall is blocking anything?

I found that you need to set up permissions for VNC user on the VNC server.

This solved our problem.

My problem was that i selected windows AutoFill for email, and the server would not accept that as a valid email. Writing the email out in full fixed the issue. 27.06.2024.
