Client controlled "screen zoom" from Windows interface... like the iPad app version (pinch zoom)?

How about a "screen zoom" effect using the Client mouse-scroll-wheel?

It would need some sort of "special key" or worse, a button on the toolbar.  Thinking how you could trap a key or sequence, that wouldn't be used on most systems, would really help in being able to quickly zoom into some details on the Server screen.

Essentially it's as simple of thinking of the iPad app version, where I can pinch-zoom into the screen, and it just works!  Do the same for Windows control... and I haven't been able to find a setting or the same zoom effect if it is there?   As said, it might be "clicking-both-left-&-right-mouse-buttons" at the same time, switches it into "screen zoom" mode?

Perhaps have several modes of usage in Settings - 1 method might be a default, which is the zoom control (from mouse wheel) only lasts for 3 seconds (* or a time setting in the settings so user controls it) after activation.  Therefore, the zoom function is activated by button or key, but then auto-deactivates in 3 seconds time. If you use the mouse-scroll-wheel afterwards it would then feed a normal mouse control instruction to the Server, which might then scroll the current page.

Perhaps there are some options in the Settings to control the zoom centre to be on mouse position over Server screen (at the time of the zoom), or a default-centre zoom based on the screen size centre?

Bonus points if you could be clever enough to find the right "key sequence" to activate the zoom mode, perhaps you could double-click-it  (eg.  if it was left+right mouse button to activate, you press these twice like a double-click) and it would do a function based on the settings.  THe settings might have a control for "switch zoom positions" and you slot in 120% & 50% into the settings area for this feature.  The double-click activation would simply toggle between these two settings. So, instead of using the mouse-wheel, you might just double-click-both-mouse-buttons and suddenly you're zoomed in close at 120% (or whatever setting they have), and another double-click returns the Client view back to 50%.

**** NOTE (RealVNC) : Whatever you think you're doing with the V8 Client windows adjustments to match Server windows... IMO... is not working.  If you added the above function, it would be in the current Client view without changing the local window or anything else, other than "zooming" into the Server screen.
