updating realvnc on headless and remote computers
I just received the notice that there is an update to v8. I have two servers that are headless and another to which access is bothersome, to say the least.
Can I update to version 8 remotely?

Hi,
Thanks for posting! v8 is currently in public beta and as such doesn't upgrade v7 at this time and instead installs alongside it. This means that you will need to sign-in and configure version 8 as a new install, which you can do while connected to the previously installed version of RealVNC Server.
Note, this means you will see 2 entries in your team for the same device, 1 for v7 and 1 for v8.
