RealVNC Connect 8 Copy and Paste
Trying out version 8 (8.0.0 r189). Copy and paste functionality between server and viewer appears to be missing. I have tried both v8 server and viewer, as well as v8 server and v7.x viewer.
Copy/paste works between the v8 viewer and a v7.x server.
Is this on the list to be added soon, or is it implemented but something is broken in my testing environment?

I have been unable to get copy/paste working at all in v8. Win11 and RHEL9 boxes. I am looking to downgrade to v7, as copy/paste is what I do between servers all day.

The issue you're experiencing is related to a known problem in RealVNC Connect Version 8. Our development team is currently working to resolve it.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused.
In the meantime, if you're working on something important and rely on the copy, cut, and paste feature, I recommend temporarily downgrading to Version 7.13.1. This version does not have the issue and should restore full functionality.
However, if downgrading isn't an option for you, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Rest assured, once the issue is resolved, all affected RealVNC customers will be able to use these functions without any problems.
Is there an estimation when this will be fixed?
