RealVNC from iPad/iPhone into Windows

I have been using Real VNC for a year in this setup (Accessing Windows 11 machine from iPad) successfully.  I renewed my yearly support agreement and am now getting "RealVNC Viewer must be updated to use RealVNC services".  I updated the PC to v8 beta, but no change.  What am I missing to get this working again?
