Connection problems

The last couple of weeks my Real VCN is having lots of connecting problems. Sometimes it's hard to get a connection the first place. It says, for example, that the server is 'not listening' or 'refusing connections'. But the next attempt it connects without a problem. After a connection has established, most of the times within seconds, the connection goes down ("connection closed unexpectedly") and I need to wait for an attempt to reconnect to the server. Sometime two or three times, followed by a stable connection that lasts for as long as I need it.

I got the server installed on five different machines and I am using even more different clients from different devices and different locations. But it happens all the time.

Until a few weeks ago, I never experienced any problems. Am I the only one? And what can solve these annoying problems? My internet is working fine in all server locations.
