Is it possible to set global default option values that become the defaults for any connection?

System, (RealVNC Viewer): Windows 10 connecting to the RealVNC server supplied with the Raspberry Pi's operating systems.

I am currently working on a robotics project that spans multiple robots and operating systems.  As a consequence my configuration for RealVNC Viewer has multiple connections defined based on the operating system and the robot being used.

What I want to do is create a set of customized configuration defaults, such that any new connection inherits my specific selection of defaults instead of the normally supplied default option values.

Additionally, I would like to be able to globally change an option value in such a way that it immediately propagates to all existing connections. (i.e.  Instead of setting option/expert option "foo" on every individual connection - one at a time - I can set it once and have it immediately become effective on ALL connections, immediately.)

Is this possible?  How do I do it?
