VNC Connect installation fails with "Server is not cloud joined"
[Solution] So I realized that essential subscription is on "per device basis" unfortunately. This is really confusing because in the details it says "No. of managed devices: up to 3". Yeah, if you buy the subscription three times... I solved my problem by adding my 2nd device to my "Lite team"
But with this shady move and with no subscription offered for us, lowly essentials, I am considering not to extend my subscription.

Hi there,
I am trying to install the RealVnc Connect software on a windows 11 machine.
Unfortunately the setup fails. Here is what is happening:
Server and viewer install fine, after that setup program asks to login into my account. I do it, a web browser opens, I sign in, then I am asked to choose a team. I choose my essential team that have one machine already set up.
After this, the RealVnc Connect Installer says:
"Installation Failed
An Error occurred while Attempting to install RealVNC Connect
Server is not cloud joined"
If I just try to open the server software's setup and sign in there, I get:
"Sorry, you've exceeded the number of computers in your subscription."
But this must be wrong, I have an essentials subscription and it includes "up to 3 managed devices".
This installation would be the second. On the website I have only one computer set up in my essentials team. Nothing else.
So I am stumped, do not know what to do.
Oh, and the nice chat functionality is not for us, essentials. No support. Only for business types. Go figure.
Anyone have this same problem? I really wold appreciate any help.
Tamas
