user.log is full of mysterious Connections/Disconnections
Hi,
the user.log on my Linux vncserver which btw runs perfect, is full of entries from uncounted IP addresses from the internet.
I already limited the the IP4 connections to my local network 192.168.0.0/16.
Here is a dump of the file

Is there a way to block those connections facing the internet?
Thanks
Carsten

It looks like you have your Server port forwarded from the Internet - you should disable that. If you need to access it remotely, use RealVNC's cloud connections.
Hi Jack,
yes, you're right. Thank you for addressing this. I will check these settings.
Best
Carsten
