problem connecting a machine that had been connecting with no problems

I get the error, "Timed out waiting for a response from the computer." This is a machine that has been connecting fine to the server for weeks. Three other machines are able to connect but not this one. Nothing has changed. Any help appreciated.

  • Same issue here.  tried to connect to a server that I had been on yesterday and it will not connect , just times out.  I upgraded both server and viewer software to latest and still no connection to that machine, I can connect to another machine behind same router.  I have a back up with Teamviewer to that computer and can connect , determine that the vnc server is running but nothing happens when I attempt to connect to it (while watching via team viewer).   Currently I have 4 remote units 2 I can connect to and 2 I can't as of today.

  • It happened to me again today and they recommended logging out of VNC, and logging back in.  This worked for me.

  • I had to bang on it multiple times, did the upgrades, deleted the server from one machine twice, reinstalled - did the unlog from all servers and viewer, etc then logged back in one by one and finally they came back up.   Now I have one that was lost and it is on a raspberry pi.  that one came back with just the unlog and log back in.  The one on windows 10 2H22 had to go through the process of unstalling and re-installing but they are back up.  Still no real idea why it crapped and then came back unless it was at the VNC link between my machines?
