Configuration wizard not launching on Fedora 38

Hi, I am running Fedora 38 and was able to install the RealVNC Server .rpm package, however, when I click on the icon to start the configuration wizard it asks for my admin creds but then nothing happens. Does anyone know how I might be able to launch it? Had the same issue on Fedora 37 as well.

  • I'm having the exact same issue on F37 and F38. Both are using the KDE environment. One is a custom build desktop, the other a Lenovo laptop. Both fully up-to-date and tried multiple methods of install (via GUI, terminal, sudo, and as root).

  • Anyone get anything back on this. Seeing the same issue myself (Fedora 38, KDE Plasma) ?
