Remote access sessions last as long as you need but, for your security, you’ll be automatically disconnected after 60 minutes of inactivity by default.
If you have access to the RealVNC Server's parameter system you can change this idle timeout or disable it altogether.
Alternatively, you can specify a maximum duration for sessions if you wish.

This parameter is on the server side not the connecting client, took a second for me to find it. Hope this saves someone time looking.
Is there any way to setup a different idle timeout of a specific client?
Reason: A TV mirroring a computer with data but almost never used
